So Steven uses this for both projects? KTL (especially 2) is Amazing. Love SUNN in just about any line-up, album. The Boris/SUNN album was actually a bit disappointing to me, but really dig Black One, White 2, and Monoliths.

Where's the bottle red wine? Crucial for maximum tone.

It did change quite a bit since I saw them (close enough to see it, I mean). I remember two Boomerangs with KTL, several painted pedals (MXR Distortion + ? EHX Holy Grail ?), a Blackbox Quicksilver delay and a Morley ABY. The switcher must be used to split the signals to the 4 amps he was using for the Monoliths and Dimensions tour.
Sunn O))) = some of the greatest shows I've had the pleasure to experience, and one of my most important musical discoveries.

Best show I've seen (well, OK, in my top 5) was Wolves in the Throne Room -> Weedeater -> Earth -> SUNN. So many amps on that stage!

I also want to add that it's nice to actually see some good bands mentioned around here aside from all the John Mayer, Joe Bonamossa crap.

I actually liked that split. Used to listen to White1 a bit, but most Sunn I get bored of. Nice board though.

Asked him about the two lower pedals, next to the tuner=

CMAT MOD compressor and Ned Clayton effects loop switch
Stephen's solo work is awesome-he also has a new duo record coming out

Yes. It seems that blues lead guitarists and/or church performers and/or ultra-purists who can hear a .01 percent change in cable capacitance dominate the discussions here. That and persons who want pedals that "preserve their tone." And persons who idolize J. Mascis....Not that there's anything wrong with all that. (I enjoy reading all the posts in any event.)

And today I'm working on pedal set-ups for upcoming performances with choreographer Alexandra Beller.

I've always used "analog" pedals, whether racked by Nicolas Collins or on the floor. But the RP355 is quite useful for situations in which I need quick patch changes. Still A/B-ing my pedal set-up vs. the unit.

Man... I would love to play just a single chord plugged into Stephen or Greg's rig. The vibration on stage must be incredible.
