I think it's one bad-ace guitar! I'm not a super-traditionalist though, so take it for what it's worth!

I think it looks cool. Not a huge fan of the scalloped neck though.

Hell, I think their standard guitars are pretty world class right now! Nice custom build!

I love Fender Custom and Masterbuilt guitars. I even love some production Fenders. It's funny when people bash Fender guitars.

Whatever the client asks for is "custom."

check the highest string bridge saddle and plate. the high string can be either run through the block or top loaded.

    Come on guys,
The OP knows what he wants in a guitar, he has had a huge amount of truly custom instruments made to his specs by a boatload of different boutique builders.
Remember, most of the stuff that really make a guitar custom are the small details that cannot be seen in photos, players with requests demand truly custom instruments and I bet this one is made based on requests! To each his own of course, but the fact that this guitar is not my cup of tea doesnt mean there are not custom features and quality in the built.

    Great stuff, enjoy the guitar

I have no use for 7 strings or 24 (scalloped) frets- I'm not that good of a player- but I will say I think it looks pretty cool.

And if it was made FOR you, that makes it really special. Thanks for sharing, OP.

Especially funny considering a sizable percentage of the guitars in the world are a copy of sorts. Including many if not most boutique guitars.

Don't see that type of attitude as much with cars. A Callaway Corvette being more exclusive and "better" doesn't make a base Corvette junk, IME.

This "low rent hobbyist" won't be buying or recommending any of matte's albums anytime soon.
