I saw them in concert in 1980.

One of the best concerts I have seen, and I have seen a lot of them.

Foreigner was a far more superior Group than most give credit imo.
    Great tones,tasteful writing,excellent vocals,etc.... many consecutive hits....
They are still a staple on many Classic Rock requests/radio play.
I love Mick Jones sense of Rock Guitar Writing.
    Underrated imo.

Thanks OP, great video and bringing back some memories. Foreigner was a great band live or on record. I agree with ^^^ that they are underrated.

Rock Royalty! Far better than they ever got credit for and they sold a ton of records. Awesome band!

I saw Foreigner on this tour in the spring of '81 at Met Center in Bloomington MN. A memorable show for me for no other reason it was the first time I got to go to a concert with my friends without any parents along.

We behaved ourselves and still managed to have a great time!

The band is really peaking in this show. Great to see Lou singing with such power. Thanks!

I had a ticket to see them in Providence, RI in 1980. I got caught skipping school that week so my mom grounded me for the weekend which meant no show, and all my friends were going and one of their moms was driving everybody in the station wagon.

After the show only a mile or two from the block where most of us lived a drunk driver went through a red light and hit the wagon broadside, flipping the wagon on it's side. Minor injuries for everyone except my best friend Joe who ended up with a broken back and neck injuries. Within three days he was quadriplegic, then he slipped into a coma and died several months later.

I used to really like Foreigner but I still think about Joey whenever I hear them.

Cool Video. I saw them in Seattle in the 80's when they were Headlining with Loverboy when they first came out. Loverboy pretty much blew them off the stage. The fans were relentless in booing Foreigner off the stage. They only played a few songs until the band told the crowd to piss off and they walked off stage. I felt bad for them. It was pretty hard to watch.

That wasn't my opinion, that was the crowds opinion.
