yeah, page count's not showing in regular skin on my PC.

it was more useful when we could see it, what's the point of hiding it?

maybe it's a PC vs mac/IOS thing? fonts are normal on my ipad running regular skin, huge and annoying on my home desktop PC.

Every time I try to do a search, it tells me I must be logged on, even after I log in?!

OK, after a while the giant "reader's digest" font started to get on my nerves, so i zoomed the page out a little in chrome and it's staying that way.

now the main forum listings are a little too small and the forums themselves are close to normal; that i can live with.

still, how about just making all the various sections of TGP the same size like they used to be? bigger or smaller, if they're all the same size we can deal by zooming the browser in or out a little.

i think the residual complaints are down to the font size weirdness, some folks' trouble with their emporium posts, and that one last screaming red button for "POST NEW THREAD". (i thought we wanted folks to search instead of redundantly starting new threads, maybe that button should be hidden entirely!)

Is there any update on getting back to the original font size for the desktop version? I'm running the mobile but don't prefer that given all the wasted space. And I know how to zoom in and zoom out to shrink the font in the currently oversized desktop version, but that alters the zoom on other websites and I don't want to have to tweak my zoom each time I go on TGP. Bigger picture question, did anyone request to have the desktop font sizes changed or what prompted this to be done in the update?

OK, that and the way we lost join date and location and now see likes, that seems to emphasize and encourage exactly the vibe we don't want around here.

We're working with the skin developer to address these concerns. Repeating issues that are already recorded isn't going to get them addressed any faster but it is going to make it harder for us to identify new issues reported here.

There's a fix for ignore threads/forums that will be in place soon. The bad news is that it will delete your current ignore settings.

Why have join dates and locations been removed?

No, I didn't read the whole thread.

I am half curious to see what has gone on since I ignored them.

Edit - Update - Okay, turns out it is the same ol' same ol'...can't wait until this is fixed. How about the hidden page count issue?

OK, just noticed that when i dropped a link into a post it was no longer underlined. i'm with @UsableThought, that makes it hard to tell what's actually a link, i imagine more so for folks with any kind of colorblindness.
when multiple members complain about those issues and get no acknowledgement, is that any surprise? otherwise, we literally can't tell if you guys don't give a damn :( or if you're just too busy moving heaven and earth to fix everything :eek:

(i certainly assume the latter :bow)
