I've been looking for a GREAT delay pedal for a long time. I need it to do the old school blues & country thing but I'd love if it could also do a more modern thing. Which one is better Mad Professor deep blue delay or this digilog???
or are the just different. I wanted to get the T-Rex but can't afford it right now. After seeing these two delay pedals I'm hoping that they're just as good as the T-Rex or maybe better.

I think his pedals are variations of the BYOC's . I might be wrong. I have his Brown Rabbit and it is absolutely great.

Very nice indeed, but what really caught me off guard was finally an octave I want to buy! I want the Marahishi in a bad way.

I doubt it since it is true bypass.

it's a momentary feedback switch, the knob right above it controls the amount/how fast the feedback fades in.

Besides the modulated delay, how would you compare the Digilog to the Echolution? Have you tried running high gain through the Digilog yet?

I found the Echolution to be pretty unispiring ... all the weird stuff was cool, but nothing really "nailed" a certain sound for me ... everything just sounded pretty good ... not amazing. Today I played my Heritage 535 through my Suhr Badger cranked with the gain at about noon, which is what i'd consider a high gain marshall tone. The pedal held up better than any other delay i've had. I think what's special about this pedal is the balance between the high and low notes ... everything is very very even, so you can play really subtle parts and the low end doesn't get away from you on the repeats. Even though this is only 9 volts instead of 15 ... I think the MP Deep Blue Delay clips prove that a clear delay with distortion can, in fact, be only 9 volts.

Well hell, the DD-6 can do that at 9v too ;)
Got word from Teddy that even though I ordered last night, they're out of stock. Said the past 48 hours have been 'crazy' with orders for them... the actual quote is:
"Guys Freak Show sales went insane in the past 48 hours, there must be a post or article on it or something" wonder who's responsible for that... :p

Anyway, for anyone considering an order, it'll be at least a week if not more before another batch comes in to fill the current orders.

The digilog works fine with high gain....the pedal reminds me of a old mxr analog delay i bought 30 years back, but better.......This pedal is well worth the money!!! But there are plenty of delays out there , i just like the Freakshow and BJF THE BEST.....:)

The digilog is not analog but analog voiced, correct? 600 ms max time like the deep blue?

quick demo ... just the mic/camera on my macbook pro ... let me know what else you want me to demo on the digilog. the trails on the video sound a bit different that normal because i'm using the feedback switch a lot ... in another video i'll just show the delay without the feedback switch, where you can hear the natural repeats of the delay without the oscillation factor.

btw ... rag on my cut-offs and you die.
