    Here are a bunch of free IRs that I acquired a few years back: Google Drive link

    They're in WAV format (unless otherwise indicated) so you should be able to use them with whatever device supports IRs.

    Edit 3/14 Acoustic IRs and more

    Edit 3/16: Jay Mitchell's Fender IR (for those who missed it when he made it available a couple weeks ago). He asked me to only publish this in Amplifire's CAB format so the WAV is not available.

    Edit 6/2:
    Jay Mitchell's Marshall IR.

    Edit 2/20/16: Somehow I neglected to post the Clawfinger IR set

    I know nothing about cab IR's.
    The ones in Amplifire seem fine to me, but I might as well experiment.
    Do ones that are a few years old show their age?
    I mean, like with most things the tech improves... so would newer ones be better?

    Not until you break 'em in. Takes 50-100 hours of loud playing to complete the process, but man are they sweet after you're done.

    Thank you for these, Alec.

    I read that Jay shared his Farfield IRs with the TGP community recently - can someone point me to the thread? (And thank you Jay)

    What I mean is has the technology for capturing these improved over the years?

    It's easier to come by the necessary equipment to acquire IRs these days, but the quality of the result is and will always be limited by the practitioner rather than by his/her tools.

    Thanks! Are the ones labeled "Fredman-Impulses" based on Friedman cabs?

    Thanks aleclee! Is there a way to decipher what the file names correspond to?

    mes=mesa?, cob=?, etc.

    I'm hoping I can stop half way down the rabbit hole. :)
