I'm not a big HTML or web page developer, but I need to create a page that will basically just be a list of links to other pages.

I have a blank page right now with a logo at the top and just links listed, but I want something a little more professional looking.

Googling free web site templates results in a ton of links - most of which are either not free, or they're virus laden.

    Anyone used any they'd recommend?

Never used any free themes as I do web development professionally and usually use more of a boilerplate type thing but I found http://www.freewebsitetemplates.com/ and it seems to be legit. I downloaded a few of the themes and they seemed to work just fine. I'm sure if you found one you liked and needed just a couple of small tweeks you could PM me and I might be able to help.

I used to have a site that had a lot of free HTML templates but Google saw fit to declare it a "spam" site because I had the audacity to prominently show non-Google ads on it and they deindexed it. I took it down a while ago but I still have all the templates. They're a bit dated but aren't bad. Let me know what you're looking for and I'll see what I've got.

Bootstrap templates, which are based on Twitter's original design and supported by them, are popular right now since they're mobile friendly and such. http://startbootstrap.com/ has a good collection of them that might be useful to you.
