What can be done to repair this? I had just tapped it back down before this picture but it will pull up and I will get a buzz on the few frets before this one. Its a Burny LP Jr. that I got for less than $400. I don't want to spend too much on it but I do like the guitar and would like to have it fixed.

A good tech could probably replace just the one fret. It looks like you would be looking at a refret though.

How much should a refret cost?

The fret could easily be superglued (I have *all* my frets superglued), and the side of the neck repaired. You need to take it to a GOOD tech (and by that I mean very good, as opposed to hack) and it shouldn't be overly expensive. You shouldn't need a refret at all.

Plus one on the super glue idea. Its in Dan Erlwine's book of guitar repair.

Yes, that one fret can be repaired by a good tech. Then might as well get a crown and dress for you your guitar.

Custom Inlay is about a 40 minute drive from here. They do alot of inlay work for country artists. Not sure they will or can repair this but I'll drop them an email and find out.
