This is the Dirty Shirley
Yup. That's how it's done... both by Lance and Dave.
Great sounds but I am curious why every amp these days does not come with an fx loop and true bypass? I am curious why some amp builders are going the less is more approach...
Because in this case the amp is very touch sensitive and based on a vintage design.
Sometimes a loop is not a good idea.
That was cool. Reminded me of an Audley Freed type thing.
I can tell the amp really fired you up, which is what they should do!
You can get it with a loop (from what Cliff told me).
great video Lance!!!!! dave and I thank you and Cliff. you totally captured the vibe of the amp.
yes the Dirty Shirley can have a metro loop as an added option
Thanks for answering the loop question.
I am loving this amp...
Great rock tones .. and I have not even plugged into a 4-12 yet.. yowsa
That amp rules.
Great rock tone!
I really really like the tone with LP guitar!!!
it must be my next amp!
Great demo Lance! Gotta love this amp. I thought the DS came with 6L6's ?
Yours had 5881's
I always thought a tube rectifier based amp was loose and the bass was squishy in a way that didn't work for me... This one sounds like the bass stays tight and fat.
Sounds like a winner!
Thanks, Matt V
Killer. SOunds awesome. Way cooler than the Marsha stuff to my ear.
Nicely done Lance.
Thank you Mike!
Great stuff Lance!!
Awesome tone! This might be my next one. Sounds like it's got an Audley Freed / Jimmy Page / Allmans / Hendrix kinda thing going on.
Nice, thanks. Now the question is do I sell my truck or sell a kidney to get one.
I really should'nt be hanging around here in the demo section with no money....
"There is no effects loop - we don't need that here. These are not the droids you are looking for."
Amp and playing sound great!
Wow, sounds great man!
How did you record that? Like what mic and things like that? Sorry for noobish question.
