Great demo of the Friedman Phil X. Also one of the best amp demos I have heard
I agree! Fantastic demo of a killer amp.
I want the guitar lefty that is!! sounds fantastic!! great job on the demo.
Very nice. What was that song? Digging that song.
I really like his videos hope he does more. His Zack shaved video sounds great
Totally dig it.
I own the BE100 but that does sound really bad ass.
Great demo. I like that guy because he's not just demoing his own ego with a bunch of dweedly-dweedlies. He actually plays a few notes and chords just to show you how it sounds. Why are so few demos that way??
He combined Pete Thorn's musicianship (not comparing, just saying he's good too) with just showing you the amp without trying to prove anything.
(I got a little annoyed with Lance Keltner for an apparent shot at Friedman during his Metroplex demo. I listen to fewer of his demos now. Metroplex fans sometimes are snarky about other amps, I am noticing.)
Love the amp. One of my faves Dave makes for gain. But a bit surprised it doesn't clean up better. I guess that's what the Dirty Shirley is for.
CONROLS.....ha ha......totally digging the Conrols 5:22
That is a great demo, the playing and production and layout. The tone of the amp could be almost anything in the Marshall style/ family. The amp tone overall ain't bad, but the rasp or fizz in the high end/dirt is what I'm always trying to get away from, seems too grainy. I hear that in most Friedman high gain clips (not the DS tho') and what detoured me from getting one a year or so ago. I hear the same thing here. I wonder if all these clips are just at lower volumes and that fizz will diminish when you crank it up, like it does on a JCM 800 and the top end gets full and clear and you hear less preamp buzz.
