    SOLD!

1962 Fender Princeton-Amp....family owned since my dad bought it new. "LH" is stamped on the tube chart "LH" which is August of 1962. Within last 10 years it had a cap job,
grill cloth power transformer replaced (Allen Amp/Heyboer), grounded 3 prong plug by a local amp guru and has been fantastic sounding ever since. I've used it many times in the studio.
It is very quiet at idle. The speaker in it is a Weber Ferromax that Ted Weber himself recommended to me at the time (RIP Ted).

The tolex is original having a few marks on the bottom but is void of any cuts, rips, tears, stains, smells. There is a slight dent on the top edge above the Intensity knob and a little tear in grill cloth. The amp weighs 28 lbs.

This amp sounds sweet, especially the tremolo. It's a really fun amp to play through & is a perfect studio amp, jamming at home or gigging. You can crank it up without knocking things off the wall & it loves pedals. It begins to sweetly break up around the 5 mark on the Volume knob depending on your string attack.

The tubes in it are vintage black plates RCA 5y3GTA, (2) 6V6GT branded Hammond, Mullard ECC83/12AX7 and Mullard 12AX7 branded GE Made in Britain. I will also include a back up set of tubes...JAN 5Y3WGTA, JJ6V6S, GE(Mullard) 12AX7, GE 12AX7/7025 as well as
a footswitch for using the Vibrato.

Never thought I'd part with it since it has been in my life for 53 years but sadly sometimes life dictates the direction you have to take.

Price now lowered to $1250 shipped/paypalled to mainland USA. Can't do trades at this time.

I pack very well, ship fast and have done many transactions on this site before the feedback system was introduced. I can provide many references.

I can't respond but once a day in this ad so if you want a quick answer to a question, please send me a pm or email to... gitrboy (at) comcast (dot) net
