Up for sale is a 2006 Gibson Historic 1958 Les Paul Junior Reissue. This guitar plays wonderfully, sets up perfectly, balances exceptionally, and weighs next to nothing. This one has a thick 50's neck profile. The one piece mahogany body matched to the one piece mahogany neck with long tenon present a time tested tone combination. The lack of a neck pickup minimizes the magnetic pull on the strings allowing them to vibrate and sustain longer. This guitar has been tastefully upgraded with the following modifications:
    • Gibson Kluson Style Double RIng Tuners
    • Bone Nut
    • Faber Aluminum Lightweight Wraparound Tailpiece
    • TonePros Locking Tailpiece Studs
    • RS Pots and Bumblebee Capacitor
    • Schaller Strap Locks
    • Lollar P90
    • David Johnson/Historic Makeovers Tortoise Pick guard
    • Extra Pigtail Adjustable Wraparound Tailpiece

The guitar comes with ALL original parts except nut as well as the OHSC with Certificate of Authenticity. It has been gigged, though there are no major dings or any breaks. The only noticeable mark is where the forearm rests against body, tried to represent that area fully in pics. 2006 was the first year Gibson Historic implemented the PLEK system on their guitars. The frets themselves are in excellent condition with no wear.

    Price: Sold
    Weight: 7.08LB.
