Up for grabs is a very special one of a kind Cardinal Magpie handbuilt by our very own Sam Evans in Austin TX.

This is a premium build, top to bottom. Hand selected 100 year old Sinker Cypress reclaimed from the Mississippi River, based on lightness and tonal qualities. SOLID thick Honduran Rosewood V-neck(close to 1" at nut, shoulders shaved down. No mistake this is a larger neck. Not as large as many R8 or U shaped necks, but still on the larger side), Ebony fret board with the lapsteel style markers. Topped with custom oxidized copper piece by Sam.

Features a Lollar Supro pickup in the bridge, plus a Lollar Firebird in the neck based on Jason Lollar's recommendation. He thought the Firebird was the best option along side the Surpro. Upgraded hand cast bronze tail piece.

Finally topped off with an upgraded Hiscox case. Final cost was $3400 with all the upgrades.

This guitar sounds incredible. Definitely unique looking and sounding. Craftsmanship is also stunning. Condition is very good. Some light worming on back of the guitar from a belt....hard to photograph, one mark on the electronics cover, and some slight marks around the input jack.

Looking to get $sold shipped. Almost 1/2 off the original price..amazing deal if you have ever wanted one of these beauties. They almost never come up for sale used.

I have a sibling of this instrument, only with a gold foil instead of the mini hum. Absolutely a joy to play -- not only does it look & sound great, it feels wonderful in the hand. Good luck to all.
