Up for sale is a wonderful c. 2009 Rick Kelly Telecaster (Carmin Street Guitars, NYC). I've had it about two years and just lucked into another Kelly (a strat) so I'm reluctantly letting this one go.

    SOLD
    $1,825, shipped
    CONUS,
PPG (for reg. PP add 3%) (was $2,150)

[on Reverb now, too - for more $$]

Double-bound alder body, Sunburst traditional tele. Has a medium C rock maple neck (not his DD boatneck). Beautiful finish.

It's got Fralins in a "Nashville" tele config - complete with 5 way switch (Rick's orig setup, zero mods). Great quack in pos 2 & 4, and regular tele sounds - very cool setup. Glendale saddles in the Kelly bridge. I had a clear pickguard made, but took pics with that and the original white one (both will go to the new owner).

VG to EX cond. Has a few very minor nicks. But also has a ding right under where your forearm goes - orig owner told me NY subway turnstile got it thu a gigbag - now has a hardshell case. The ding is circled in two photos (it did not affect the binding at all).

Has almost NO fret wear - see pics . A really great guitar - almost tempted to hang onto it but.... More pics avail if needed, PM or e-mail me please.

    Specs:

    weight:
    ------ 7.6 lbs (on a digital scale)

    neck:
------ width at nut is 1⅝”
------ width at the 12th is just under 2"
------ thickness at nut about .88” (a bit over ⅞")

Similar to a Fender 50's style neck, as above: a medium, C-shape. I would not consider it chunky and, at the same time, certainly NOT a skinny shredder neck. Has a great feel (both size and finish) and it's fast, IMO.

I've played 5 of Rick's guitars, two had DD boatnecks and the other three were more normal sized. All were great, he really knows how to carve a good-feeling neck. This one has impeccable fretwork, too.

As you know, these don't come up very often....

back's finish is near perfect - that's a reflection on the right horn

    Thanks

These are wonderful guitars. I own a Bowery Pine Kelly and it's fantastic. Very very comfortable inspiring neck.
