FS5-U or FS5-L to stop RC2 looper

I want a single switch for my looper. My goal is to stop my loop with a single press. I saw with a FS6 you could stop with the "b" side and change phrases with the "a" side. I don't have interest in the changing phrases side. Also, I'd prefer to not run on batteries if possible. Thanks

Thanks. Is it an either/or thing and the unlatched doesn't run on batteries, or is the FS5-U the only one that will turn it on and off like that?

1. Both the 5UnLatching and the 5Latching will run with or without batteries.

2. The Latching does not engage/disengage the loops correctly.

The manual should say what to use.
