just saw one on craigslist. Should I grab it?
Why would anyone else know?
Do It. You will love it.
idk.. maybe there's one who knows how much they sell for usually.. I just thought $60 is a pretty good deal on those pedals but wanted to confirm.
I mean yes and no...
IINM the fulldrive 2 is a dist/OD with a lead boost. I mean, name another pedal that you get two extra channels for you NMV amp with that costs $60. If you can't that's because it's hard to find a good sounding od with a lead boost.
From that perspective, yes I would jump on it. On the other hand, if you can get a hold of one for $50, then, like duh man. I'm just saying it's easy to lose perspective. They're quality OD units, the boost is nice too. They're designed to work together. I mean, for $60 it's hard to go wrong.
IF it's a early NON Mosfet one,...trust me you will love it. These with a simple BBE Sonic stomp in front of it, kicked a Silver horsey Klon (#238) right out of the house. I just helped a Buddy out by selling him mine (less than 2 weeks ago),...
...now this guy is a pedal whore, with more boost/ODs than most high end Music shops along with other pedals and has been trying to get back to straight analog/pure sound/tones for all his high $$$ amps,...and has Thanked me a million times since we made the small trade (you would not BELIEVE what he gifted me back in another deal after, and all because of me giving him the pedal).
Again, just another case of 'what names on the box', 'Emperors new clothes/thread,' not being all it's cracked up to be, as these are the sizzle for little $$$. Tom
It's a great pedal. Always on my chain.
Depending on condition, it could easily be flipped for enough profit for a coupes sets of strings.
I found an old pre MOSFET (push/pull Comp Cut) at the GC used case for $69. Picked it up and listed it on Reverb from the parking lot. Sold that week for $79+shipping.
So, even though flipping is less important than buying for tone reasons, being aware and realistic is ok in my book.
If it works properly, get it. I love my Fulldrive.
I bought a used Fulldrive 2 last month for $78 and I though it was a steal of a deal. At $60 I would not hesitate to buy.
Yes for sure!
If you don't buy it, let me know where it is so I can snatch it up. That's a steal.
In the time you took to post this, someone bought it.
