It looks like the FD 2 MOSFET pedal is now available. Does anyone have one on order? I'm eager to hear some clips and get some feedback on how it sounds. Someone's got to have one coming soon, with all the GAS attacks on this board.

I had actually tried to order one from the Fulltone web site, but as soon as you click on the "add to cart" button, a note comes up and tells you that the pedal is currently only available through authorized Fulltone dealers. A quick perusual of a few authorized dealers, (Musictoyz.com, etc.) revealed no information, so I sent an e-mail to Mike. His first reply stated that the pedal wasn't available yet, and that it would ship later this month. (September) My second e-mail asked if there was a waiting list, (that I could get on) or if he knew of any dealers that were taking pre-orders. His reply was: "Not to my knowledge."

This was about a week ago.

Just checked the Fulltone site, and the same message came up (again) when I tried to order the pedal. (looks like a "real" picture this time instead of a drawing though, that's cool) Doesn't look like there's anything listed on Musictoyz yet either.

Thanks for the info, Chuck. I had emailed Mike a week or so ago myself asking if there was a wait list. I got no reply. If you grab one later in the month, please post a review.

    Thanks,

    Jeff

Yeah Mike said this weekend it would be end of the month before the 10th Annies ship....

But I sent my old millenium edition in for the updates (vintage/fm/compcut - and the mos/norm switches) so at least I can HEAR what the deal is :D

What does Mosfet mean? And do you think this will run on 18 volts?

I've got one coming from the first batch and my dealer says it should show up by mid-October.

That is a great looking pedal (orange metallic with white lettering).

I noticed something else that I didn't know before. In addition to the 3-way switch, this also has a 2-way switch to go between normal mode and the new MOSFET. I didn't realize that--I thought the new pedal was MOSFET only.

right electronically its the latest update PLUS the mosfet option, so it still does everything the FD2 did with more options ( and cool color !! Metallic version of the original Orange production model)

big question tho - will the knob color change the tone again !! :D

Is that per the web site, or some other info? The web site has said mid August, late August, mid September, late September... Which is all cool, it's important to get things right before release! I was just wondering if you had any other scoop. :D

Groovy, thanks for the info DonneR!

It's just that... you know... the gas... And there's this FD2-sized gap in my pedalboard where I sold the Anniversary edition's predecessor. :)

I think the fact that he has a final product pic on the site is a good sign. I can't imagine there is that much extra tweaking to be done on this one, since it's based on a long-standing, tried and true design. I have one coming from the first batch. Can't wait to hear it!

That's interesting. Who is taking orders, and getting the first batch?
