Fulldrive II - just the left side

    Anything out there with a smaller footprint that is comparable to the fdii rhythm side? I usually use it in fm mode. Thanks.

    Analogman Silver Modded SD-1 (might be the closest)
    Barber LTD SR (i hate using this word, but it's more "transparent" than the FD2)

    Those two immediately come to mind. Fulltone's seems to be on a roll with downsizing many of his pedals, a smaller FD-2 would be a big hit IMHO.

    JHS does a mod to the Boss SD-1 to make it an FD-2 (OD side)

    yeah, as others have said, the sd-1 is really close. even the stock version.

    Keeley modded SD-1 also. BUT... we're talking only VINTAGE mode here... the Keeleys & Analogman won't do the FM & Comp-cut modes. (I think)

    I would say an SD-1 too! And yes Analogman's mods (and others too) make it even better/closer.

    FD2 Vintage = Analogman SD-1/808 (this replaced my FD-2 and is maybe a touch better thicker sounding)

    FD2 FM = Analogman SD-1/808 Silver
