Didn't like the Clyde when I demo'd it, but then again, I don't like vintage wahs.

Have you looked at the Area 51?

If it has to be between the two, I prefer the RMC to the Fulltone, but that's just my opinion.

Haven't tried the Fulltone, but I can't image a more perfect vintage wah tone than what I get from my RMC Picture.

I have both, and I like them both. The edge goes to the Pic Wah. The Fulltone housing and sweep are amazing. And the sound is right up there.

i'm a fan of both, you can't go wrong with either, but there is no better wah out there than the Pic Wah, period

There was a bit when I first got it, but a quick shot of wd-40 on the potentiometer cleared it right up.

I had both wahs at the same time and I much prefered the Pic Wah. The Fulltone is a fine, quality piece, but the Teese drips with vintage mojo. I also didn't care for the "feel" of the Fulltone - it seemed like I had to work the trendle extra hard to make it do its thang. I grew up playing a Thomas Organ Cry Baby, and that is what the Teese feels like to me.

That bit of crackle you sometimes get when rocking the pedal back and forth. Admittadly I was a little surprised when my brand new wah was doing this; I couldn't help but think that maybe Teese took the vintage idea too far :) Again though, a quick squirt of wd-40 cleared it up immediately.

IMHO Picture Wah by a mile...yes, I have tried both...I bought the RMC.

EDIT: Since making this post I have changed my mind about what the best wah for me and I no longer use RMC wahs.

And that is exact reason why Geoffrey Teese changed wah Pot manufacturers late last year..

Interesting, although mine is barely a month old. I got it from StompingGround; what do you think the likelyhood is of it being a leftover from before the switch? It's in the blue casing if that helps. No big hangup either way, since it doesn't crackle after the wd40.

And there's my answer! I've got the black tread. Is this something I should consider upgrading? Like I said, the problem is solved for now, but is it likely to become a recurring issue?
