1. The Gear Page is run by musicians for musicians. We listen, we learn and if we misstep we are not afraid to do the right thing. We proposed some changes to the Emporiums. Based on feedback from members, we have decided to not go ahead with those changes. However, it has also highlighted that we need some community input into what is working and what is not working for members here. Primarily focused on the Emporiums, we'd like input on your thoughts about TGP and how things work in the Emporiums for you and how you'd improve them. The discussion thread on the is here!

Killer Jack ... great playing man...
Now it sounds like you've got that thing dialed in ...
Is that reverb and/or delay ... love that addition...
adds a sparkly little touch to the sometimes dry notes ....

So what's the story on these great looking babes in the avatar...?

Thanks. That was the zen2 again with the timefactor for the delays. The babes are for inspiration. ;)

    Jack,

You seem to be soaking this style up like a sponge!
Getting a funky feel and using all of your great harmonic knowledge and chops. Nice......
    Nice tone.....is that a D-Style?

Thanks Chuck. You are one of my idols. That was a Ceriatone 36 (el84). It's probably my worst amp for this type of tone due to the spongeyness but I was too lazy to switch heads . :D

    Hey jack,
It seems to me like your cultivating an interesting cross over style. There is a kind of phrased freedom here that keeps my interest. I can hear many things but i would really like to hear your take on it. I've been following your posts and i can almost hear this thing in your head developing and growing. I sometimes hear that you have much love for many different aspects of music and are kind of at a point where they are organically coming together. Sorry for this long thought, but i would like to hear your take on it.

    Mike

Thanks for taking the time to listen Mike. I do love so many disparate style and have always found it hard to pull them all together but I finally feel like I'm making some headway. Hopefully I can keep growing to the point where I'm making some real music instead of just clips.

By the way, the ballad you posted with the clarinets was just amazingly stunning. I listened to it 4 or 5 times in a row. Thanks for sharing.
