    It's called inside-outside playing ...
I bet you'll be incorporating into UR own playing one of these days ...
    ;)

I already do. Whenever I drift out of key, and someone catches it, I just tell them I'm doing my inside-outside drifty-type playing... ;)

I'm a bit surprised. You seem to have no problem providing critique on other people's performances (whether invited or not). I sense a bit of defensiveness when it's your own playing being critiqued. I figured you'd welcome constructive criticism, since you are so willing to give it to others, no? ;)

    Thanks for diggin it ...

The weather has been quite odd on the coast lately ...
Really cold or pretty darn hot (for the coast that is)

The backing track is my own ... maybe I should figure out how to make it available for other folk to have fun over ...

Very nice, sir. Great wah work. I know I bust your chops about the backing tracks, but you manage to make even lifeless machines sound groovy and musical.

Great playing as always Joseph. I love that those kids are getting to see great live music. I saw a cat doing a solo show when I was young. It changed my life. You're inspiring young minds to create man. That's a beautiful and powerful thing. Just don't get frostbite!

Nice playing Joseph! Wahs are usually a turn off for me but you had a warm, muted trumpet vibe going on that I dug!

Hey thanks Man ... hey you're a kid just like they are ... ;)
A funky kid at that ...

For real ... the way the kids at the market respond to my music is priceless ..
(many of them start dancing) ...
Makes it all worth when the ocean breeze turns into a chill factor ... lol

Thanks Marty .. it's a great tool to use with a clean tone
as sort of a subtle volume pedal effect ...
& then a with a few funky strums here & there for color ...

Bwahaha I lost it when the little kid in the stroller had the look of awe in his eyes. Good stuff.

Thanks ... U know I've been loving UR playing lately too ...
Now I've got to get it together with that Alpha pedal ... still haven't decided whether I like it best as a low or medium gain pedal:huh

Very cool Joseph, nice to hear a completely different take on it, from possibly one of my favourite Sco albums.
Anyone interested in the tune can find the chart here -

Regarding the diatonic vs chromatic harmonica, coincidentally I once had a cold outdoor gig and had the honour of having Howard Levy sit in. He was in Perth for his daughter's wedding and was staying at the hotel around from the corner and happened to be walking by, he played Giant Steps on the diatonic harp and was a complete demon on it.

dood, nice job, and no pun intended - but I really got a chill vibe from it. Really nice melodic chops & sweet chord work. Nice wah artistry to boot ! Love how you bounce between the swing, funk, and clean shred
