    Hi guys,

I wrote this song for my band Phantom Pop and we just released a video. It has weird chords and odd time signatures :)

    Hope you like it!

    Thanks!!

I like weird chords and odd time signos. Somewhat Cobhamish.

I like the way at the beginning, at 3:56 and 5:14 for several bars forward, the band is acknowledging one another with brief phrases together.

Here's a new video from the same session. It's a Snarky Puppy cover!

I like "Banana Computer" a lot. Very cool playing by everyone all around. The only thing I didn't care for were the horn sounds. I'm not sure why, but they sounded very strident to me. In fact, when they first came on, I thought they must be synth horns, but then I saw them in the video and in the personnel list. I don't know ... maybe they're just EQ'ed and/or processed in an unusual way (to me).

Anyway, cool groove. Reminds me of the stuff I used to hear all the time while at UNT.

By the way: I noticed the Sub Phatty in the video. :) Awesome synth! I used to have access to one while playing in another band, but unfortunately, when the band died, it went with its owner, the bass player.
