Fuzz Faces and output volume

    I think in most cases, even upping that 470R resistor to 1K puts it at decent boost from normal, but I use single coils.

    MK1.5/Fuzz Face and MKII Tone Bender circuits, both vintage and the clones I built, give me a decent boost. No complaints here.

    MKIII/IVs on the other hand could use a bit more output, but it's an easy fix..

    My Mini Fuzz Ge is also good and loud. In fact, it retains boost capability with the internal dip "Full Range" setting switched off.

    I think it's weird that I've never felt that any old FF's were lacking in output? I always though they had plenty.
