I'l admit it...I have no fuzzes...I love the sound, just never stepped off the dock into the ocean of fuzz. Don't know where to start...Favorite fuzz tones? Band of Gypsies, Eric Johnson, Gilmour on "Time" and the rest of DSOTM...I'd like to cover those bases before I move onto more crazy Fuzz Factory territory (which I dig a lot too)

Help me find something that plays nice with my Deluxe Reverb and strat!

(FWIW, my Deluxe Reverb is a gutted DRRI with a handwired Hoffman board and midrange controls)

    2nd the jh-f1 si fuzzface.

I had a SRRI and it sounded nice with it. In front of my ac30 it sounds better for EJ stuff..... in front of the fender it was a lot closer to BoG and Gilmour.

here is a clip in front of the super (sorry for the craptastic vocals):

btw, fuzz is on the whole time, gain is just changed with the volume knob.

If you're talking BoG, EJ and Floyd you really want a Silicon Fuzz Face...Jimi preferd them after there was a choice, David prefers them and Eric prefers them...

The new Hendrix from Dunlop seems to be a fav in Si FF pedals so to me it seems like a no brainer to just get one of these and go to town with it.

I use a Deluxe Reverb, and I haven't found a pedal yet that it doesnt like. I've got several Fuzz pedals, and they all sound good. I mainly use the 200lbs of Tone, and the Fulltone 69. I've got the Swollen Pickle on order, cant wait to get that one. I've played a ton of other's and they all sound good. Take your amp somewhere and try as many as you can. The Classic 108 is great, you'll love it. But ya can never have too many ;)

For Germanium/silicon fuzz I used the Lovepedal BBB'07 and the London Fuzz with my DRRI. For muff fuzz I use SKreddy Mayo and Pink Flesh. For crazy doom-metal, stoner silicon fuzz I use DAM Meathead Deluxe. I lovez mi' fuzzes!
