Fuzz & OD with most headroom?

I've got a question about volume and headroom on fuzzes and overdrives. The Analogman King of Tone has the most headroom/output on it's boost side than any other overdrive pedal I've played. It just seems massive when kicked on. But when it comes to fuzzes, most of them seem to be a little quieter than I prefer. I'm trying to find a fuzz (and also any other OD's) with a ton of volume on tap. I've got a tall font Sovtek Big Muff and an Analogman Sunface - any other suggestions?

Most of us would think of headroom as clean volume, but if you're looking for output, the Skreddy stuff (Lunar Module, Screw Driver) has more than enough output to or come any definition of quiet.

By the way - first post, welcome!

Yes, doh - "output" is the word I was really looking for.

I know what you mean. I feel like my Fulltone 69 and Lumpys Led Bender don't quite have the output I'm looking for. The SUF Violet Rams Head has insane output and is one of my faves on my board.

I've played a lot of fuzzes with large amounts of output (nearly all Basic Audio stuff - for example). To cut through the mix, you still need mids. My Sonic VI Fuzzrite does the trick. In order to get any of my "vintage" style fuzzes to cut, I have to roll back my gtr vol a touch to lesson their compression and open them up. This is how I use my D*A*M 1966.
