Ok You bunch of Enablers. You all have Me wanting a fuzz now. I'm a novice when it comes to fuzz though. I don't like spitty gated fuzzes. I can't stand the fuzz sound on "Spirit in The Sky." I really like the tones that EJ gets and I believe He gets His tone from a Fuzz Face and a Tube Driver or something like that. What ever the case I want that big thunderous kind of tone He gets. Also I'm wondering if the tone The Rev had on "Just Got Back From Baby's" is a fuzz.

My next question is how to get a cool fuzz tone through a Fender amp?

Which Fender amp? I have a '70 super reverb, that I use a BBB07 through and it sounds great to my ears... getting a sunlion soon, can't wait.

Actually it's a Valveking but it has a Fender-ish clean channel. Got an Emi Wizard in it.

Fulltone 70 works pretty good for the Eric Johnson thing.
Fulltones website says;
"I got my hands on Eric Johnson's Blue Fuzzface that he used from "Tones" through "Ah Via Musicom" period (now owned by Ian Moore) and incorporated a few of its tonal secrets into the '70 pedal with staggering sonic results!"

Fulltone soulbender and JH-1 Fuzzface (silicon) were the best ej in a box fuzzes i've ever played. The soulbender is a bit of a cross between his fuzz tone and OD tone. The Fuzzface sounds much better in a semi-cranked amp.

I've got a BYOC Bender Mk II clone that I've stopped trying to kick off my board (man the previous owner did the fugliest paintjob on it EVER lol) because it sounds to awesome into my VibroChamp and Deluxe Reverb. :)

MJM London, Addrock Geranium, Diaz Square Face. Really about all the Ge fuzzface clones sound pretty good through Fenders, both tweed and blackface. Johnson uses a silicon fuzzface but also plays it through a Marshall. Si's work good in a Marshall, but are very spitty through brighter amps.
