Recordings...Some of you came in this thread because you know it's about "Fuzz". I want to know, what are your favorite fuzz tracks?

I know a few guys in here loves fuzz or are just starting to get into the FOOOZ!

Here's a few on top my head: These are just some recordings, that I base my love of fuzz pedals.

I want to know. What's on your list?

To me Jimi's over-all sound comes from a raging Marshall. I rarely hear him on record stepping on his Fuzz Face. Unless it's for those freak-out solo at the end of a song or when he tries to create feedback.

Here's an example of him actually stepping on fuzz.

Edwyn Collins - Girl Like You: B&M Champion Fuzz Unit (A Colorsound Jumbo Tone Bender)
Blue Cheer: that's a Fuzz Face and Marshalls turned up to 11
The Stooges - I Wanna Be Your Dog. I always though that was Fuzzrite, but apparently it's a Vox 2-trannie Tone Bender
    Taxman -- isn't that a FZ-1?

I hear fuzz on so much Hendrix. Maybe three tracks on aye are without fuzz. Can't be many more than that on axis that are fuzz free. I agree you don't hear him step on the fuzz that much- I just think he mainly left it on. Live vids he seems to be working his volume alot and you can hear how this brings the fuzz out. maybe I'm listening wrong?
