G12H30 alternatives?

    Besides Eminence Wizard, Mojo BV-30H & Scumback H55 or H75.....what are the other speakers that fit this same mold?

    Is the Eminence GB128 in this family?

    I'm pretty sure that GB128 means "green Back, 12" 8 Ohms. I've had a few here some time ago. Sounded like a green back if I recall.

    Just for clarification and if I got you correctly that would be a G12M Greenback.

    Yes. (good point btw...I never got in the habbit of callling H's Green Backs, but they indeed are) The GB128 was developed with/at the request of SLM and was the original speaker offered with the Crate Vintage Club amps.

    Another REALLY good alternative is the Alltone 1250 or the Naylor SD50

    They're both the exact same speaker.......

    Exactly...Weber Legacy 12" w/ either 55hz or 75hz cone, 50oz magnet, and standard British dustcap.

    Why pay more? You can thank me later.

    I just bought a used mint g12h30 70th anniversary for my VHT , decent speaker!
