Cool...great to hear them do this. His solo at 3:13

According to some of the folks posting negative comment in the .99 download thread...Brian May isn't worth it? ...really sad.

With a Moog-like bass line and dance track touches, sure.

    Your point?

Only because Country is no longer Country. You and I is a stadium rock ballad.

I like her live version of this song better, it is more stripped down and like a rock song. Unfortunately, none of the live clips on youtube have Brian May.

    G'Day,

Like it, Ms. Gaga has a VOICE and some soul..I'm impressed. The production of the

song is slick. It's got a great hook. It also has MASS appeal...sorta Country Rock Pop.

I know it's not about Brian, but I would have like have heard him cut loose a little, just

to sort of put his sonic signature on it, Kinda like when EVH played on "Beat it" there

was no mistaking WHO the Guitarist was.

    Cheers

Saw her live HBO concert. I like her diatribe on how she does not lipsync, but some others do.

I think there is still a pretty good Brian sonic signature, but yeah, I would have liked to hear him cut loose a bit more myself.

Yeah it's clearly his guitar work all over that track.

Sounds like something Mutt Lange would do with Shania.

Yeah! And I was not disappointed with how the live band really rocked her songs.

    Funny you would say that.

    Mutt produced this song.
I don't know if he did anything else on the record/cd/download though.

Nothing new, this reminds me of his sad collaboration with the boyband "Five" (where are they now by the way? Was it the same old "short term" light entertainment?). Brian May he's one of my favourite guitarist but why is he collaborating with commercial pop and light entertainment is beyond me. Is it for the quick money? Or he just want to show how polite and diplomatic he is?

maybe he actually enjoys it and likes her music? Could be your hero is not as close minded as you are.

Here's what he posted on his blog about it:

Maybe he's just having "FUN" playing..in different GENRE's of music?

    Cheers

+1. No so thrilled with the initial riddim track (too synthesized), but if this is country, I'm liking it.
