when stacking my low and medium drives into my delay, repeats are heard better without needing to utilize mix knob. When I use my low into my musket fuzz, sometimes it seems you cant hear the repeats as well and I need to turn mix up. Is this a natural ohenomena with gain/delay or maybe nature of that pedal

I tend to get the same thing you describe, going from clean, to overdriven, to distorted. Diff input levels, as seen by the delay, might be the culprit.
Anyway, it sound more natural to me, delaying thru effects loop when that's an option.
