I know the interface is kind of oversimplified, but they have integrated a ton of Logic X features like Drummer, and many of the amp and pedal models. It's so easy to make a great sounding demo. I have Logic X, but for banging out demos for the band I think GB has plenty of functionality. What a great little scratchpad.

does it do time signature and tempo changes yet? I haven't even messed with it since like '08.

I guess you are talking about the very latest version? I think I run an older version because I have an older mac.

Yeah, they changed it when OSX 10.9 came out last fall. It's almost like a different Application...

Can the new version run on snow leopard? Or is this all part of the integration with Mavericks?

Mavericks only. It actually made me upgrade to Mavericks before it would let me install the new GB on my MBP. Sorry Mark, but I see a new Mac in your future. Keep the MBP the way it is and get a new Mac Mini and a Samsung monitor. Under a grand total and you'll be wondering why you waited so long...Ms Vee's new iMac is a smoking fast machine...I'm actually a little jealous.
