1. The Gear Page is run by musicians for musicians. We listen, we learn and if we misstep we are not afraid to do the right thing. We proposed some changes to the Emporiums. Based on feedback from members, we have decided to not go ahead with those changes. However, it has also highlighted that we need some community input into what is working and what is not working for members here. Primarily focused on the Emporiums, we'd like input on your thoughts about TGP and how things work in the Emporiums for you and how you'd improve them. The discussion thread on the is here!

I've been using a Boss BR1180 for the last few years to record with..The most frustrating thing about it is that it only has 2 xlr inputs, so recording drums has its limitations..I use a Yamaha 12 channel mixer to get all the drum mics mixed onto one track, but this makes post editing impossible..I'm considering switching over to a laptop with Garageband installed..Is it possible to have isolated, multi mic recordings with this? If I have a 7 mic drum take, can I get that onto 7 individual tracks, or will I be in the same situation as the Boss unit that I already have?

if you have an 8 channel interface you can record up to 8 separate tracks simultaneously in GarageBand I believe
