I LOVE this guys sound. Tone = Mojo = soul(fingers+voice) and is not generally proportionate to $ spent.

One chord, two chords, three chords, whatever.... his voice is unreal. Let's face it, boutique gear is for enthusiasts who think it makes us more legit musicians. I have spent 3x more money on gear since I stopped playing in a band 2 years ago. I'm sure I am trying to fill a void somehow.

Hearing Gary is what inspired me to move to Austin. He is a very nice guy and still comes around to blues jams when is home. The guy loves Casinos, fuzz and vibrokings. And yes, he does kick ass. His guitarist Zapata also has a ton of fuzz pedals and also can play damn well.
