gear on Jimmy Vaughans current tour?

    anyone know whats amps he's using, friend saw him last night on Long Island. I see some Tweeds on stage, also, what looks like white Marshall cabinets? Great tone, real nice playing.

    Jimmie's rig is likely very basic and it most likely doesn't include Marshall's.
    He has used Bassmans(Tweed) and Grammatico Bassman copies(White)more recently.

    oh, it must have been the White Bassmans I saw in pics. Figured Jimmy would use Tweed or Blackface.
    The person that saw him last night posted a few clips. Just a great basic tone. One of the best strat tones I've heard.

    He uses a Boss Tremelo pedal sometimes as well...

    Jimmie's Grammatico Amps Kingsvilles (white amps) are tweed Bassman inspired with a highly modified circuit. It was developed working one on one with Jimmie to get the results he desired. The end result was a mix of warm, woody tweed era tone with added glassy, bright, sparkly, biting, tight Blackface era elements.
    He's recently replaced the Boss tremolo pedal with a Strymon Flint.
