Anyone know any details of the guitars and amps etc Mike used on his new album?

Fantastic tones, nonetheless. Not just the guitars - every instrument sounds stellar on the album.

I haven't read anything with Mike saying what he used.

I'm not sure how long he's been recording this project, he has a ton of gear and I bet it changes all the time like some of us and I doubt he used his big studio rack rig on this project.

So it's anybody's guess what's on the record.

More than likely his Dumble and his Suhr Badger amp wise.
I know Mason mentioned mike using the Boss Rt20 for the Leslie effect.

Too busy enjoying the music to care about the gear.

Ah ha Husky. I'd hoped you'd be along. I printed out your run down of the guitars & amps from Mike's live album and put it inside the cd liner. Thanks so much for your last run down - look forward to your reply on this one .

This is a GREAT sounding CD! A bit bright at times, but everything is recorded and mixed clearly, with sweet harmonics.

I'd assume his 70's sunburst strat with ML Suhr pickups for most of the guitars.

Wonder if it was rack or Leslie at 2:17 on Ghouls and the Goblins, the wacked out underwater sound. :bong It's weirdly awesome and in stereo too!

Interestingly he didn't use his 70's sunburst strat.

Kerry told me that 4x12 cab is huge sounding. I have to get a Badger, that would sound great through my 2x12 Kerry Wright!

Aargh, another pro using the Plimsoul. I've tried soooo hard to avoid buying any new drive pedals. I'm happy with the ones I have, I'm happy with the on............ You know how it goes!

Plus I tried a Plimsoul out and was underwhelmed. But in a store, Fulltones never sound as good as they do at gig volumes.

So no rack voodoo, Arion-mojo, but just an off-the-shelf Leslie-sim :)
