    Holy freakin' smokes.
Rob, if you read this...I GOTTA send you an MP3 I recorded live of this amp being driven hard by a P-90 Les Paul.
I had a chance to really crank this bad boy at the W.C. Handy Blues and Barbecue Festival in Henderson, KY over the weekend. Guitar plugged into the topboost channel (no OD pedals!), volume around 2:30/3PM, then jumpered over to the EF86 (normal EF86 setting) channel, volume at around 1PM. Master "w.f.o.".
Hi and Lo, fairly flat...maybe a little extra Lo added, and Cut at 3PM or so.
The sound was absolutely corpulent through a big PA.

I've never had so many gearheads come up to me after a gig and go "What the hell kind of amp is that??"...and I've played some offbeat rigs in my day.
    Nice work, my friend!

Man, I wish I could have been there. I have a Hayseed also. I absolutely love it. Post that clip for all of us!

Was your band part of the line up or was that during a spectator jam? I live about an hour and a half from Henderson and have only been to the WC Handy fest. one time. I need to get back down there sometime.

I'm only 30 minutes away, but as Unc knows, I was otherwise occupied setting up for a job that night.
Bruce J (soundman) mentioned the Hayseed 30 and Unc's stellar playing when we spoke Sunday, said it's a fantastic amp.
And folks, you don't have to be from Kentucky to post in this thread, honest!

p.s. I want to hear that mp3, too.

I want to hear that clip too. I'm interested in buying a Hayseed myself.

I'll try to get it edited and posted tonight after I mow the grass....*uggh*
Jeff, we were in the lineup. This was our first time over there...hopefully won't be the last. It's a great setting, and the event people are among the nicest we've met anywhere.

I love jumping from the top boost to the normal ef86 channel in my hayseed 15. Such a thick, complex tone.

What speakers are you running Uncle Pat?

One of the best sounding "Vox-style" amps I've heard. There might be one in my future.

If I were handy with Photoshop, I would definitely mod that little graphic to say "This thread is worthless without CLIPS!"

Okay, not worthless, but I want to hear the Hayseed clip too.

Congrats on what must have been a fun gig!

    I'm workin' on it!
I did my selection fade in/out on Audacity, but I can't save or export it directly as an MP3...dammit!
I'm not real savvy on this digital audio crap.

If it's a .wav file you can use a free program like CDex or Windows Media Player (I think) to convert it to mp3.
    Here's a link to CDex:
    http://cdexos.sourceforge.net/

edit: I just looked at the Audacity site. You can use the export command to convert your project to a wav file. Save the wav on your desktop then use something like CDex or WMP to convert it to mp3.

That was a nice sounding little amp...and similar settings to how I ran it IIRC.

This is my band's website...go to the Sound/Video page, and "Cold Cold Feelin" is track #3 on the player.
    Damn, what an ordeal. :NUTS
    I need a beer.

papa taco, that's a pair of Eminence Ramrod 10's. I'm just not an alnico guy, I guess...but I'll keep using them in another cab (Weber Silver Ten and a Blue Pup)
