loved it. currently produced silver klons are possibly the most underrated pedals out there right now.

the gold horseyman mystique is for the birds

That demo shows what a silver klon can do--take whatever you're doing and give it a big 'ol shot of adrenalin. I think you can make good arguments for other pedals to compete with it but there is no denying that thing has balls. big ones.

I may be in the minority here, but I honestly can't see what the big deal is about the Klon. As an overdrive, it sounds meh, as a booster, well, it just sounds louder (as expected)...

Maybe if PGS does a video of it I may see what the big deal is about this pedal. I have yet to hear one in person that makes me go WOW!

I thought Gearmandude did an excellent demo and showcased the many great sounds this pedal is truly capable of. I love my Klon!

Great demo. Camera mic or not, it sounds just like the Klon I have sitting in front of me right now.

excellent demo showcasing a few of the things that the Klon is capable of...I was just looking at some old gear pics and in the last two years it's the only pedal that has remained constant on my ever evolving PB...a true workhorse that is indispensible live...

BY FAR the best demo I've seen yet of the Klon. I still don't want one. Camera mic or no, I didn't hear the Klon do anything my Timmy can't do... or several other ODs I've had over the years. Nothing against Klon, I just didn't hear any more "uniqueness" than alot of other great ODs I've owned over the years.

Based on experience, Klon and Timmy could not be more different. Both great.

it sounds good but I don't hear what the big deal is. I see what the big deal is though, that thing is the sexiest looking beast around. the builder's a genius for making that custom enclosure. if that same circuit came packaged in a plastic Rocktek or Arion enclosure, I'd bet the farm it would'nt get any respect.

How expensive is a klon directly ordered to the builder?

A year ago it was $349 direct from Bill F. with around a 12-14 week wait.
I doubt my Klon will ever leave my board.

It must be new. I normally check his demos every couple of days.
