Gene Baker - Fender Masterbuild -

    Thought I would show some pic's of this nice guitar I had at one time..... I know some here can apreciate this guitar...
    It is a Baker # GB120 ... Played wonderful and was a real nice guitar but I have always been a Rosewood board player so sold it for a profit on E- bay lol .... I payed $1300.00 from a guitar shop.. sold for 1850.00 e-bay.... still a great buy at 1850. but had no certificate.. enjoy.

    This is a custom color Strat - sorry didnt specify ... please help me learn to post pic's on this guitar - or I can email them and sum1 one else can post them here .. think u guys will like them....

    go to imageshack.com or photobucket.com and follow the directions. It's pretty easy.

    Actually belonged to my drummer - in a round about way - he fronted the money to buy it. And of coarse I let him keep the profit from the sale - I just played it - but like always I end up going back to rosewood boards ... :dude

    I actually ended up with this guitar. I don't believe that I bought it from you, as I didn't pay that much for it. Although by the time I got 'er someone had worn away a big patch of finish on the back of it. :(

    Well as I said my drummer sold it scince he actually owned it.... and I just played it... yes it had the finish worn off the back from a belt buckle before we bought it... from a local shop in Lubbock, Tx. - My frined and drummer ebay name jeremy6002 sold it on ebay to some guy in florida I belive was a fan of the miami dolphins said he had to have it cuz the color... lol. for $1850.00 I belive..... I remeber it havin a " V " neck where you would fret cords and transition to a Chunky " C " as you go up the neck... I really liked it... but not rosewood board... how has the guitar been for you ????

    I'm sorry to say that since it was delivered to my office, about 2 months ago, I haven't even brought it home to plug it in. However, this thread has given me the motivation to do just that tonight....

    Ill fill u in to the pic-ups in it -- If I remember corectly it has reissue 57/62 in the neck and middle - and a Texas special in the bridge....

    Also curious what u payed for it?? - and where you bought it??

    Just wondering about its travels around the stated in the past year?? :dude
