They are useless - they should call them plug covers 'cause that's all they do...

Naw, they serve a purpose. They keep the cap from twisting off.

The are NOT for stress relief. The best thing they do is keep from scratching othe pedals.

I'm through will George L right angle plugs. I've read the instructions, applied super glue to the threads etc... they still come apart. I will be selling all my right angle plugs to anyone who wants them. The straight ones have never failed me but the right angle plugs are crap.

I've never had a problem with my George L's. The riht angle connectors have never come loose. not evn a little. And this is on a board that has seen a lot of action.

The best thing the covers do is keep the ends from unscrewing. And they kinda look cool.

I have some of them...but honestly, I also have had NO problem with them unscrewing, etc., but the covers (especially with the extra material on the tops) make my pedals have to be THAT much further away from each other...which I don't like.
