Germino Monterey and Fillmore

    Anybody compared these amps side by side? Any thoughts on these
    and the lead 55?

    hi i have a lead 55 with 2x12 closed back ive been using it for 4 yrs now that maybe a record for me there may be more expensive amps but none better
    at least not for my needs

    this amp is powerful and cuts i have played so big places and even outside and never dimed the volume at the same time i have played it in small rooms at low volumes and it still shined from jazz to blues to rock it always comes out of top

    i cant even think 100 watt wow

    Monterey is THE Malcolm Young amp, as well as Hendrix at Monterey (obviously) with a strat. The Monterey has the most amazing crunch tone....

    The one pic I saw of the Monterey actually scared me. That thing is like a cannon. LOL

    Yeah its powerful, but it is an amazing thing to hear live. whew.
