anyone use these? I'm thinking of grabbing either the Hot Nashvilles or the Hot Liverpools to throw in the place of some P90's in a tele... might mix and match too, just to get some different tones... thoughts?

I've been waiting for feedback on these for a while now. I'm a big fan of the HB-sized Liverpools.

I ordered a GFS Hot Liverpool for the neck of my hollowbody, and a GFS Mean 90 for the bridge recently, I'll post a thread reviewing them both as soon as I get the chance to install them.

i installed a pair of the nashville minitrons in a homemade lp jr copy and they sound great. i think they're the overwound variety. real nice clear sound whether playing clean or dirty. price can't be beat!

You're talking about the Minitron-sized Hot Liverpool, right?

Hey, I'm gonna revive this thread!

I ordered the Nashville Minitron for my Epiphone Nighthawk Custom Reissue. I'm really hoping for the best. The Nighthawk is already a Frankenstein of sounds as it is, so I'm looking forward to adding more color to the palette. I'll let you all know how it goes!

Just wondering if anyone has any input on these? I have some liverpool minitrons coming for my gretsch pro jet. Are they better than the stock minihums?

Reviving an old thread. Anyone have any more info on these?

I'm building a beater strat type and the P90 I was planning to use looks like it's gonna need to be rewound, so I ordered a hot Liverpool minitron last night.

I will report back once I've got this guy up and running (this weekend maybe?) but in the meantime, anyone have any experiences with the minitrons to share?

I have a Liverpool Minitron in the neck position of my Reverend Rick Vito. I like it a lot. I'm a single coil guy and while this doesn't sound like a single, it is definitely much more sparkly and lively than a full size humbucker.
