GHS Burnished Nickel

I just ordered a dozen sets of GHS Burnished Nickel Mediums and apparently there's new sealed packaging. I thought I might have ordered "Rockers" by mistake as the old packaging claimed the "Rockers" were different than the Burnished. They are now called "Burnished Nickel Rockers" but retain the same part number. The last batch I got in the old packaging occaisionally came with some dings and tarnish on the unwound strings, but the set I put on last night from the new packaging were perfect. I got home after the job and played until 5:00 in the morning. Is the string quality improved or did I drink too much coffee at the gig?
