Mental note, go back in time and open up a credit card and buy two Chris Cornell 335's. Sell one and keep the other.

Oh, and go see Soundgarden on May 13th, 2017 and don't "wait for them to come through town again".

I wish I would have bought the black 335 back when they came out. That would be something I'd never think about letting go. Unfortunately, used prices are too ridiculous now.

I did, however, fly to Detroit and was there for the last show at Fox Theatre on May 17 :(.

Cornell could play rings around most of the people on this forum. And unlike Vai, Malmsteen, and 99% of rhe other "virtuosos," he could write great songs.

He wrote a lot of the main riffs too. Their songs are not easy guitar songs and he played and sang on most of them.

Agreed. I'd like to see some folks try to play and sing Jesus Christ Pose.

    From the Producer of Superunknown:

"Kim actually didn't play much guitar on "Superunknown"- apart from leads, it was mainly Chris. Chris' time/feel was better, as was his tone."

Well.. I didn't bought the Cornell because of Chris. To be honest, I was not a fan until then. I bought the Cornell because it's a darn bad ass 335. I was considering buying a 335 since a while. I was waiting to find the one that would stick out of the mix on the Rock side of things. When the Cornell got out.. it was the perfect fit.
