Gibson ES-335 Custom Shop vs Gibson L4 Ces Custom Shop

Both great! So nice to hear the use of the clean bridge pickup on the 335, a little used sound that takes me back to the 60's. The L-4 is my favorite archtop Gibson. It was the best bang for the buck in Gibson's line of jazz guitars. I had a 90's L-4CES with a bigsby. It had that wonderful woody tone with flatwounds. I sold it years ago. I will play my '61 355 mono until I can't anymore.
