Anyone hear anything about the availability of ES-339s in retail locations yet? Are they even going to continue this model into 2008? Or is this still going to be an 'Online' guitar only?

Would love to get one, but I just can't bring myself to buy it sight unseen.

    thks.

Their supposed to be at Guitar Center, though I went to Guitar Center in plano, and they did not have any idea what the 339 was, that is the close GC, but its also the most stupid GC in Dallas, have not made it to the mockingbird GC, that is where I tend to buy stuff, they are more knowledgible.

    the gibson promo says

The ES-339 is only available from Musician’s Friend, Musician.com, Private Reserve, Guitar Center, Guitarsale.com, and Music 123. Be sure to seek this guitar out, as it’s destined to become a desirable classic like the models that inspired it.

The GC in Manchester, CT had one but it sold pretty quickly.
