I want to solder a volume treble bleed kit on the two volume knobs. Should I remove the bridge pickup, undo all four pots, and then move everything over to the bridge pickup hole and solder the kit in?

I tried getting to the volume pots via the f hole, but I couldn't do it.

Here's the guitar....

Your guitar isn't a Gibson so maybe the wide part of the F-hole is too narrow for full size pots. If there is an access hole in the bridge pup slot you can get them out and do the job there. Sometimes with those narrow F-holes it pays to install CTS mini-pots.

Thought so. You ought to be able to access the pots through the treble-side F-hole, but you may have to drop the whole harness (pots/switch) to do it; the volume pots ought to slouch out through the widest part of the hole (shaft first). Sometimes I discover, to my delight, that there's enough slack in the wires to allow me to just pull the volume pots. Check it out.

While you're going through the headache of getting to those volume pots, you might as well replace them with some nice audio taper 500ks instead of the 300k linears that are in there now. This change will do more to improve the treble response and clarity when trying to "clean up" a distorted amp with the volume controls than adding those treble-pass caps anyway.

Yeah, I'm thinking of doing that. I'll order some RS parts.

Well, I talked to RS Guitarworks and ordered a drop-in kit with new pots, etc. They have a 5 video Youtube series on how to do it, and it seems very doable now. Thanks guys!

Ha! I'm so glad I found this thread - this is my only issue with this guitar (my CS-356) so I'm glad someone else (GAT) has blazed the trail.

GAT - did you add them in? If so, was it worth the effort? Any thoughts/advice/tips would be appreciated :)
