Gibson Les Paul sparkle orange?

  1. YES Way cool! You will be the next Steve Stevens.

  2. NO. Uncool. Banned from TGP for even considering it. Now go join the Spice Girls.

  3. Make up your own mind, you sap

I don't have pics. The price is very fair, too. It's new. Custom Shop *sparkle orange* LP Standard

I'm 50-50 on this. I saw it and I went "wow" but I'm not sure if it's cool and different or just too over the top,.....I'm usually not like this but now, I'm all over the place, waffling like a politician. Sure it's not for a blues gig but for hard rock or metal or whatever...maybe? :jo :crazy

    So what do you think?

I can't stand finishes like that but have a friend who hates mundane paint.

His guitars are the huge metal flake, bass boat finishes. He even had a early 60's LP double cut painted bass boat green! In his defense, the guitar had a neck joint repair that was stable but a real eyesore and the paint covered it.

The point of all this is, if you like it.....screw everyone else!

I think this is one of the guitars I'd have to see in person before I made a decision. But I'm leaning towards yes.

I think it'd look pretty cool. Some guys like 'em, some don't.

I'd use an orange-sparkle Les Paul for a blues gig...but only if I was wearing my purple suit.

Go for it. And post pics!

    I said YES

    BUT

I have no clue what you look like. Sure, be Steve Stevens if you are that bad a$$. If you look like a tubby older guy who works at a factory, maybe not so much, stick with Sunburst or Black.

I say yes, and yes to taking it to blues jams. It's the polar opposite of the relic Strat or Tele look.

check inside the control cavity, see if it has a R(#) stamp in the cavity, if its a good deal and a stamp inside...... you got a great guitar if you like it.

I dig the orange Gretches and I had an orange Toronado once. Loved it. I say go for it if is not the huge bass boat flakes. Small flakes would be all right.
