Gibson Longhorn kinda looks fine with nickel hardware...

Got bored to night so I photoshopped the new Gibosn Longhorn to see what it'd look like without the hideous gold hardware. I think it looks great, the subdued, understated beauty of this guitar with nickel hardware matches perfectly with the elegant headstock pattern. Now if then could just make the inlays look like the Custom then I'd buy one in a heartbeat!

    What do you think?

The longhorn looks very cool, but much better with nickel hardward, even better with full sized block inlays, and it would probably sound better with burstbuckers instead of the EMGs. Now, if this fantasy guitar was available for less than $2K -- I'd be very interested.

I'm not fond of gold either, it's the one thing that I don't like about my Johnny A. I may change out all the hardware for nickel someday.
