Gibson Melody Maker not bad!

    I picked this up because I had heard a guy playing his in a shop that sounded nice. I figured it would be no better than a friend's Garagemaster VW guitar, but this thing is way beyond the VW! Super easy to play, feather light, nice neck on mine and the lipstick's are a blast. the stock sc's pickups sound nice too.

    I preordered two and still have one - it was def the best bang for the buck guitar of '07. I have the single pickup model I'm thinking of putting a vintage stack Duncan Tele pup in the neck.

    I have an early-mid 60's Melody Maker that gets a lot of play. I gig'd with it for years. Excellent guitar. My only gripe is it's not balanced and is body heavy.
