Gibson Midtown Deluxe.....your thoughts?

    I love my Midtown, but I'm not a fan of quilt tops and certainly not a fan of paying 2.5x as much for them.

    I love Gibsons with the 335 look.
    But not that guitar listed at that price.

    That's fugly. I have an ebony standard, which was a great buy at $959. Not worth $2,500 for that hideous top though.

    Horrible, tacky, tasteless thing. Anyway a flat top on a semi like that just looks wrong.

    I love the Gibson Midtown Standards and Customs, but that quilt top Deluxe is powerful ugly. Looks like it belongs in a fish tank at an aquarium.

    I'm not a fan of the blue either, but the top looks like an awesome piece of wood....
